Wine Class: Exploring the Landscape of Champagne
Champagne is the wine of celebrations. The bubbles make it playful, and the flavors are bright and elegant. However, the process of making Champagne wine is challenging and precise, and the terroir of Champagne is staring to be celebrated on its own. With the rise of grower producers, the lowering of dosage, village-specific and vintage-focused wines, the diversity of Champagne has never been greater.
On December 16th, we will show you the current landscape of Champagne. We will give a nod to tradition, then we’ll show you all of the exciting trends that are going on in the region, tasting through many examples of the region’s trendsetting wines. The class will be taught at an intermediate level by our Beverage Director, Scott Ota, and he is excited to share his love for Champagne with you!
Tickets are $65 and they can be purchased through Eventbrite: HERE . We hope to see you here!
